Trinity School

Update from Headteacher

Good afternoon to all our Trinity families,
Sadly, the school is seeing a rising number of cases of COVID and staffing levels are very badly affected by isolation periods and other schools closing.
We have made the sad decision to close some parts of the service temporarily up to the Christmas holiday.

Wherever we can possibly manage to keep open, we will.

We will call you if your child needs to stay at home but this does not apply to everybody-we will keep the school open as a hub to support you all whether your child is in or not.

Some of you may receive a call from us in the next few days as we find we have to close your child's class.

If you do not hear from us, you can assume your child may still continue to come to school.

Please talk to the staff who call you about your family's needs.

We will of course be ensuring that we continue with welfare calls to you all and we will provide remote learning and support for free school meals.

As our office is very badly affected,  please do not call us at this stage unless you have an emergency-please wait to hear from us.
Best wishes to you at this very difficult time-take care and stay safe, and let us know if you need anything,
Susan Ball
Headteacher
PS Please remember that children and young people who are isolating due to COVID must not come return to school until their isolation period is finished.
