Panathlon Domination 13/01/16
58 points out of 60 is a record achievement in Panathlon history since 2004.
Today saw perfect records in Polybat, Kurling, Athletics and Boccia who came away with perfect scores with one game scoring a huge score of 8-1. Every single one of our students received a gold medal which is an outstanding achievement. Special mentions go to Gbolly who jumped an impressive 2m 46cm and drake for throwing the Javelin the furthest.
It was an exceptional effort by everyone! Well done!
Lots of FEC students gain the opportunity of taking part in a Fun, Fit Festival! 15/01/16
There were 3 mini buses and a coach full of students from our very own FEC. The rare opportunity to take part in a large variety of sports was an opportunity not to be missed.
The following classes took part in the day: FECDH, FECJMu, FECJH, FECGW, FECGJ and FECML.
There were so many sports available on the day to trial: Adapted Bikes, Athletics, Seated Volleyball, Karate, Wheel Chair Basketball, Handball and Football. With our very own Neil Crowley hosting the Boccia. It was a day not to be missed!
All students behaved exceptionally well and were a credit to the school. Some students who had never ridden a bike or heard of sports such as seated volleyball had this unique opportunity to take part.
All of the coaches were excellent and engaged the pupils with their activities. There were so many smiles and such a positive vibe throughout Mayesbrook Park Sport House. It was truly a sensational day and thank you to all the members of staff on the trip for their support.
