Trinity School Mission
Trinity School will use its wide-ranging skills and expertise to ensure that all our young people are an integral part of an inclusive educational partnership in Barking and Dagenham.
Vision
Trinity will provide quality educational experiences in an exceptionally well resourced learning environment for young people in Barking and Dagenham aged 3-19 years whose complex needs can currently best be met in our specialist generic school.
Additionally Trinity will provide a service for supporting colleagues in other Barking and Dagenham schools in their provision for including young people with significant additional learning needs.
Aims
1. To provide a vibrant, inclusive educational community within which all members / students are continuously learning together for the mutual benefit of everyone.
2. To provide for the individual learning, physical, social and emotional needs of all students, for whom we have responsibility, in preparation for happy and fulfilled lives beyond school.
3. To provide a broad, balanced, relevant curriculum within our inspiring, secure, positive and supportive environment and in the wider community.
4. To create a school and service ethos firmly based on mutual trust, respect and tolerance of difference.
5. To encourage caring and thoughtful attitudes.
Our aims underpin all work carried out on behalf of the school. Staff and governors regularly review our school aims and these are brought to the attention of pupils using language they are able to understand. Parents are invited to make a contribution.
Trinity’s vision is to provide high quality teaching and learning opportunities designed to meet the individual and additional learning needs of young people across the continuum of need.
All staff at Trinity are part of a unique provision, which is growing and adapting to meet changing circumstances with a particular focus on the principles of inclusive education.
We are proud of the work that is carried out in the name of Trinity. We pledge to sustain our high quality educational provision by:
· keeping children and learning at the heart of our thinking
· building and sustaining the total commitment of our staff to the aims of our school
· ensuring that all additional professionals working in support of Trinity’s students act within this philosophy.
